Sorrowmurk is a solo project of Evgeniy Martynov (known to his friends as Jorik Sorrowmurk), who is certainly not a newcomer to the music scene. In the past, he was a member of the popular Russian reggae-dub band Dub-TV, as well as the famous psytrance project Dissociactive, where, together with Slava Iskanyan, they released the highly acclaimed album "Blockout" on Acidance Records. After this, Jorik decided to take a break to gather new inspiration, and now he is back with fresh ideas, a deep knowledge of production techniques, and unlimited passion for creating cutting-edge psychedelic trance music.

Turn up the heat with Cosmic System, a fresh collection of sizzling psytrance tracks from Olotropo Records, Brazil. Similar in approach to Organic Root Technology, Olotropo's debut compilation, this release features a variety of different forms of dark psychedelic trance ranging from deep progressive to fully activated night music. Our journey continues... this time we're visiting the beautiful land of the samba to introduce a fresh Brazilian project, Psychowave (Natan Bueno), a 24 year old producer from São Paulo. Drawing influence and inspiration from old school psytrance and Goa trance music, he tries to merge deep vintage atmospheres from the past with new sound design possibilities. Psychowave's music is perfect for dance floor journeys and is filled with trippy soundscapes. So far he has released an EP in the beginning of 2010 and appeared on one compilation. Neogoa now delivers fresh Brazilian psychedelia with Sunshine Reborn, an acid-driven Goa trance release which will make you dance under the warm rays of sun.

Touch The Sound is a joint release between two closely related Russian projects, Luminexia (Slava Sherstyuk) & Sunset Hunters (Slava Sherstyuk & Natalia Zinovieva AKA DJane Satori). Based in St. Petersburg, these projects aim to infuse high-tech full-on psytrance with a range of moods from haunting and mysterious twilight vibes to radiant morning trance energized with the light of the rising sun. Sunset Hunters also has the addition of live guitar to add an exotic dimension to their sound on this release.

Gliese 581C branches out into higher BPMs to discover another sonic reality full of deep and twisted tales with Dusha Lesa (Russian for "soul of the forest"). Trading their usual psy dub sentiment for throbbing bass line and haunting atmospheres, Gliese 581C welcomes the listener to share in some of the ancient forest's mysteriou.

Funny Farm is a collection of three experimental songs by PsiloCybian that were originally written for his upcoming second album. Although inspired, these tracks do not quite fit the album so he is giving them away for free to mark the grand opening of his new web site, available here. The style is certainly atypical, representing an experimental mish-mash of full-on energy, progressive drive, and old school flavouring. Sacred Chants For Universe is a new release from Greek psytrance producer Oberon (Stathis Tsitsiliagkos) on Neurotrance Records. As with his previous releases, this one walks the middle path between modern full-on psytrance and old school Goa with a pair of melodic downtempo tunes to round out the journey. Mechanism is a new collection of bold and brawny techno tunes by Serbian newcomer Tactic Tech (Nikola Markovski). Although the style is associated with darkpsy it is better to think of it as twisted forest trance with space rock influences and a slightly lo-fi sensibility-not unlike Para Halu or Psykovsky in some ways. Mukti - Monoblock by Ektoplazm

Ork Monk is a hard and twisted psychedelic trance project founded by Zoltan Vajda, a veteran Hungarian producer already known for his releases under the name of Kalumet. Speaking Stones contains four challenging works of dark and gritty psychedelic trance with abstract, organic overtones-the product of many unrestrained experiments in the studio over the last year. The resulting fusion of styles and influences is characteristic of Vajda's creative and eclectic approach to sound design. Cyan Music presents Roots, a CD-length collection of songs by Tenonaki (Marco Köller), a side project of New Age Hippies formed to celebrate the cultural and technical achievements of old school techno. If you had the pleasure of being involved in the early techno movement you will surely recognize the pioneering influence of Detroit, Frankfurt, Berlin, and Belgium on this tribute album.
